NKP representert i Syria

28 september til 30 september var det et ekstraordinært møye mellom kommunist- og arbeidernes partier i Damaskus, Syria. På møtet var det representert 52 partier fra 43 forskjellige land. Jeg og Anne Catharina Gonzales (sekretær fra Ungkom, og også representant i Fellesutvalget for Palestinas AU) representerte NKP på dette møtet.
Møtets ble avholdt for å kunne enes om en felles strategisk og aksjonær linje mot okkupasjon av Palestina og andre Midtøsten spørsmål var også en del av diskusjonen. De forskjellige representantene la fram sine taler og prata om forskjellige erfaringer og synspunkt på situasjonen. De forskjellige landa var for det meste enig i analysen av situasjonen, og slutta seg til en lang analyse lagt fram av Syrias Kommunistiske Parti.
Det var også ekstremt viktig for å uttrykke solidaritet med det Palestinske folk og deres kamp mot imperialistene USA og Israel, samt den vestlige verdens bidrag til undertrykkelse.
Vi ble også tatt med til Golanhøydene for å «besøke» kommunistene der. Det foregikk ved at vi sto på grensa til det okkuperte området og prata med lydanlegg over grensa. Det var en «utpost» på Syrisk side.

Communist Party of Norway thanks the Working Group for convening this extraordinery meeting of Communist and Working Parties in solidarity with the heroic struggle of the Pestinian people and other people in the the Middle east, and many thanks to the Syrian Communist Party for housing and organizing this important meeting i Damaskus Syria. The Syrians have always showed a brave and prinsipal stand in dealing with the Israeli aggressian and occupation.
We find the the document: Syrian Communist Party vision of the Arab-Israel conflict and means of solution and the security of the region exhaustive and clearifying. The perspective of US imperialist policy in the region in cooperation with the aggressive sionist Israeli expansionist policy, and the European imperialist stand, for in reality accepting status quo of Israeli non comliance of the important UN resolutions 242, 338, 194 and 3236.
Israeli aggressive wars on Lebanon and the manslaughter in Gaza have opened the eyes of a broader audiance in the norwegian people. The Trade Union Central LO and the biggest trade union Fagforbundet in Norway are today very critical to the official governmental ”balanced” view with equal critics to both Israeli aggressian and the Palestinian counteracts. The Socialist Leftparty who is one of three partys of the Social Democratic government have strong elements that favour boycott of Israeli goods. Many trade unionists also support boycott.
The official goverment policy of Norway is against the Israeli built wall of segregation, but at the same time the huge norwegian Oilfund is investing in 32 companies that are heavily involved in the Israeli occupationpolicy. So the norwegian stand is as of many other imperialist states, of a double standard.

Norway is a big weaponproducer. Efficient rockets used from flying drones, that killed many children playing on the roofs in Gaza, were made in Norway. The norwegian goverment claim that they always have received guaranties from the weaponbuyers, that they will not be sold further to countries that are in active conflict. Norwegian rockets were sold to the USA, and many were delivered to Israel and used in the war in Gaza. The general norwegian public is not aware that Norway is a big international weaponproduser, delivering lethal weapons to Israel, that kills and suppress the Palestinians.
Communist Party of Norway is eager to take part in the discussion of this important meeting, to develop a common communist strategy to strenghten and broaden the international anti-imperialist alliances to fulfill the UN resolutions in favour of the Palestinian rights, and the right of every state to sovereignty and self-determination.

I tillegg til noen punkter på frihond. Bla forklarte påpekte jeg viktigheten av å påvirke organisasjoner grupper som er interessert i teamet til å kunne forstå viktigheten av å se Palestinasituasjonen i klassesammenheng, basert på en kommunistisk analyse.
